You have to understand I was five and my brother three. We didn’t know anything about the area and our parents didn’t know where we were. Luckily for us the wagon went around the block and we were found before we knew we were lost.

I remember wooden dish barrels that were used for the move. They stayed in our cellar for years, used for storage. The house was new and one of a development of three (they thought small in those days). It had a built in ironing board and a swinging door between the kitchen and dining room.  A Disney  attraction “The Carousel of Progress” made it's appearance at the 1964 New York Worlds Fair,  reminded of that house. We had  a wind up “Victrola” (record player) gotten from my grandmother’s and with it some records. “By the Light of the Silvery Moon” and “Galligar & Sheen”.

I know i'm not the only one who remembers this.
